You Are The Skin

Stavo correndo, era una domenica mattina e mi è venuta in mente la frase “you’re the skin of my body”.
Una sera ero in compagnia quando improvvisamente mi si è aperta una “porta” mentale e ripensando a “you are the skin of my body” è uscito il testo.

YOU ARE THE SKIN

You are the skin of my body
You are the hand to hold in the dark
You are the way under my feet
You are the ice in a hot day
You are the rainbow after the rain
You are the tears after the fears
You are the hair lost in my bed
You are the girl I’d like to be

I’m the feeling frozen in my heart
I’m the shield built between us
I’m the stupid words to make you smile
I’m the music you play in my soul
I’m the lies closed in my eyes
